Fun Facts

I am a huge reader and can frequently be caught curled up on the couch with a good book. My favorite food is pancakes, especially banana chocolate chip ones! While not the best baker, I enjoy making cookies and cupcakes for my friends and family to enjoy. I also love taking spin classes and training for marathons, especially along the Mississippi River!

About Me

I am a recent graduate of the University of Minnesota- Twin Cities and majored in Biology. I am super interested in genetics and hope to attend graduate school for human genetics! Ultimately, I want to be a genetic counselor!

My minneapolis">tutoring experience began in high school where I tutored younger students through the National Honor Society. During college I continued minneapolis">tutoring through my sorority and also worked as an undergraduate teaching assistant. I really enjoyed working as a TA and teaching the lab section of an introductory biology course at the University of Minnesota.

I love to learn and hope to pass that excitement for learning on to the students I work with! As a minneapolis">tutor I hope to help students relate to the subjects they are learning and truly understand the material. I do this mainly by helping the students discover the answers to their questions, not just answering them myself!
