Fun Facts

Growing up and going to college in Nebraska, a passion for football has been ingrained into my way of life. Along with football, I have many other interests including: playing the drums in marching bands and jazz bands, studying languages, traveling, and pizza. In the future I hope to continue traveling and learning Spanish, especially in Mexico.

About Me

I was born and raised in Hastings, Nebraska and I also attended undergrad at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln where I received a Bachelors of Arts in Spanish. I love everything about Nebraska, but I also love the big city and everything it has to offer. I am now studying for a Masters in secondary education at chicago">Loyola University Chicago and I'm very excited to continue growing as a teacher and chicago">tutor.

In the past three years, I have had a number of chicago">tutoring experiences. At the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, I tutored high school Spanish with Upward Bound for two years. After graduating from the University of Nebraska, I taught and tutored English in a bilingual elementary school in Spain for one year. These were all wonderful experiences and were a deciding factor for me wanting to become a teacher.

My approach to chicago">tutoring is very personal. Every student learns differently and I will implement a chicago">tutoring method that fits his or her individual learning style. We will move at the student's own pace while constantly finding new ways to challenge the student.
