Fun Facts
I love to travel! Growing up, I went with my family on long trips every summer until we had been to all 50 states. I hope to continue this interest and study abroad!
I also am a sports fanatic. Outside of academics, I play many sports including soccer, basketball, and lacrosse and I love to run.
About Me
I am a freshman Actuarial Science major pursuing a Pre-Med curriculum at The Ohio State University. During high school, I took and passed 10 AP courses. Though I haven't worked out my ultimate goal, I hope to either become an actuary or doctor in the future.
Experience
I was a member of the Cum Laude Society at my high school, meaning that I was in the top 10% of my graduating class and exemplified the principles of honor and a strong commitment to learning. At The Ohio State University, I am a member of various clubs like Women in Math and Science that do community outreach to children to get them excited about their education. Working at Frog Tutoring allows me to continue this outreach and impact even more kids.
Approach
Growing up, my worst subject was always math. Everyone in my class always understood concepts faster than me and consequently did much better on homework and tests. In my sophomore year of high school, I had an amazing teacher who taught me in a way that I understood and encouraged me to pursue my current major: Actuarial Science. As a tutor, I want to reach out to other kids who are struggling like I was and make them more successful students.
