Fun Facts

I am a student at TCU and love to have fun with friends while cheering on the Horned Frogs at the football games. Some other hobbies of mine include cooking, golfing, and going to church. My favorite type of food is Japanese...chicken or steak fried rice as well as sushi.

About Me

My name is Nick Bigham and I am a Biochemistry major at TCU. I am a senior this year and look forward to graduating, but I am also a little weary since I'm not totally sure where my next step will be in life. A few attributes about my self include: patience, fun to be around, and easy going. I love tutoring students in Chemistry, since it is one of my passions.

From past experiences tutoring students in Chemistry, I have encountered many different types of people who are in different stages of their life. Some having to take Chemistry to fulfill their major while others doing it for pre-med or to fulfill a science credit. Whatever the reason, the students always benefited from my help and I made sure to tune my teaching methods to their needs. If it means learning through problems or learning through a lecture type style, either method or some other method is definitely the one I will use.

The reason I am tutoring Chemistry is not only for a job, but also to connect with the students and help them out through a tough semester of Chemistry. I know how to listen well and am willing to do whatever it takes to help the student feel comfortable and confident with the subject at hand.
