Fun Facts

I enjoy art. I love to draw and paint. I like being outdoors and like to go hiking. I take walks whenever I can. I was an only child and I spent much of my time playing "school" when I was younger. I have always enjoyed teaching and learning.

About Me

I graduated from the University of Baltimore in 2003. My BA is in Psychology. I have worked in the public schools system and with various nonprofit organizations.
I have been substituting for an after school program for the past three years.

Experience

I have tutored students since I was in high school. I have helped students organize their study habits and improve their grades. I currently help groups of students with homework at my job as a substitute teacher at an after school program.

Approach

I believe in making students feel confident. I believe in helping students feel they hace a good understanding of the materials. I try to be patient and understanding and try to make the student feel as comfortable as possible. My goal is to help students gain a clear understanding of the subject.
