Fun Facts

I love music so currently I am enrolled in a piano class; I am excited to develop my keyboarding skills. I also love singing but I only sing when I am by myself or at church. Although it is not great, I also love to bake and I try to practice every chance I get. My goal for next summer is to learn how to swim!

About Me

I am a senior at chicago">Loyola University Chicago with a major in Biological science and a minor in psychology. When I graduate I will be doing a year of medical internship in Ghana. My goal is to apply to medical school and become a Neonatologist.

Since High school, I have had the privilege to chicago">tutor students from being part of Kids unlimited. Kids Unlimited is a family day care and through this experience, I have had the opportunity to help many students transition from elementary to middle school. In College, I was eager to continue with my work with students so I became a mentor by joining the Big Brother Big Sister Chicago. By working with Frog chicago">Tutoring, I can combine both my teaching and mentoring skills to benefit my students. I see this as an opportunity to set the stage for academic success in someone's life.

I believe in hard work because it pays off in the end. However, I also believe that hard work coupled with support/encouragement goes a long way. As a chicago">tutor, this is what I will attempt to incorporate in my sessions. I feel it is my responsibility to encourage students to be confident in their studies and reflect that confidence in the classroom.
