Fun Facts

I love languages and science! I am highly proficient in biology and hope to utilize my skills in science to become an optometrist. I also love reading. My favorite book series is Harry Potter. I enjoy trying new subjects and learning fun and random facts. I am also a member of Christian Brothers Honor's Program. Two years ago I traveled to France, Wales, Ireland, and England for three weeks and it was the one of the greatest experiences of my life.

About Me

I am a first year bio medical science major at Christian brothers university. I have three younger brothers and one older brother. I have lived in Memphis for 8 years and attended Bartlett high school for four years. I graduated Bartlett high school in 2015 with a 4.0 GPA and was in national honors society. My goal is too graduate and obtain my doctorate in Optometry at Berkeley.

Experience

I was a member of many organizations that required a certain GPA so we would all help each other by teaching subjects that we were strong at and learning about the subjects we were weak at. In French club I would often tutor struggling students whenever they needed tutoring. I would also aid many of my fellow classmates and underclass men in writing by peer editing their papers. I would fix mistakes and make suggestions to better their writing skills and their papers.

Approach

I believe in an interactive and fun approach to education. I try to get students excited about learning so that they are more attentive and interested in learning. I try to come up with interesting songs, acronyms and games that will make the student remember what they are learning and want to learn more. A positive and encouraging attitude is key to aiding students.
