Fun Facts
One thing that people learn about me is that I am very active! I've played sports most of life, from middle school all the way up to college level. I have three younger brothers! I've traveled to quite a few states, and I recently visited France for a school program, studying international health care.
About Me
I am a senior Biology major at Queens University of Charlotte. I'm currently still debating on whether to pursue medical school, or go into a masters or P.H.d program. Though either way my goal is to be a scientist and help further our understanding of the sciences.
Experience
I haven't had the opportunity to have any official tutoring experience. Though I have had years of experience helping my younger brothers with studying, homework and even helping them practice with sports. I have had a few opportunities with assisting my fellow college students with classes that I have completed already, and group studying in classes we share. I do have a great passion for science and math and my goal is to pass on my knowledge and passion to those who are willing!
Approach
As a tutor I plan to develop a good relationship with the person in need of assistance. Not to be seen as just another teacher like in school, but to be a positive influence and as someone they can ask for advice and assistance. I don't plan to just give out answers but help with study habits and new perspectives at understanding concepts to help the student be successful.

Biology
Chemistry I Tutoring
The reasons I believe that I am qualified to tutor chemistry: I have passed all of my college level chemistry courses up to and including organic chemistry with satisfactory grades. Those include classroom studies of quizzes and tests, and laboratory courses that test knowledge and capability of performing chemical reactions.
Biology II Tutoring
With my degree being in biology I have taken and completed many prerequisite biology courses and advanced biology courses. Thus, I have sufficient knowledge of the field to tutor the more basic biological courses.
Biology I Tutoring

Microbiology Tutoring
Being that my degree is biology I was required to take this course. After completing the course I realized I really enjoyed this kind of work. From that passion i created my own independent study, and ended up presenting my research at a conference in Tennessee.
Pre Calculus Tutoring
I believe that I have the ability to teach Pre - Calculus at the college level because I completed AP calculus AB and BC in high school. Also I had my pre - calculus requirement waived my freshman year of college and went straight into Calculus 1.
Algebra Tutoring
I have completed Calculus Based Physics 1 and 2, Calculus 1 in college. I have also completed AP Calculus AB-BC in high school. Thus being qualified for most math courses available in high school.

Homework Coach Tutoring
Besides my main subjects of science and math, I did have to complete numerous other general education courses. Being a college senior I have had to come up with multiple different styles of studying and completing homework assignments. I can assist students in finishing homework in a timely and efficient manner.

ACT Science Tutoring
I have actually never taken the ACT, but it is similar in ways the the SAT/PSAT which I have taken. With these tests being standardized tests, they have to be able to be taken by the general public with varying levels of knowledge. Being that science is my specialty, I believe i can provide adequate prep for the ACT science.
PSAT Tutoring
I have taken the SAT two separate times. I took PSAT once before i entered high school. I can bring along to PSAT/SAT prep tutoring sessions study tools/skills and books that I used to prepare for those tests.
