I am studying to be a physician with a possible emphasis in working with deaf patients. I enjoy playing sports, watching movies and spending time with friends. I am semi-fluent in sign-language.

About Me

About Me: I am a junior Biology major on the pre-medical track at TCU. I am originally from Sherman, TX and graduated from Sherman High School in 2008 with honors. I currently live in Fort Worth, and hope to go to Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Worth to get my D.O.

Experience: I tutored for three families starting at age 14 up until age 18 in subjects like geometry, TAKS prep, and English/grammar. I also tutored with Group Excellence at NorthSide High School for almost a year in TAKS prep for all high school grade levels and ACT/SAT prep.

Tutoring Approach: I try to engage students one on one and give them simple and easy tips when it comes to solving any problem. Repetition leads to encoding, which leads to learning. It is also important to show work in all problems and teach steps rather than just giving answers to the students.
