About Me
I was born in Seoul, South Korea and moved to Utah when I was 12 years old. I am currently pursuing my Bachelor's degree in Accounting and plan to pursue Masters in Accounting. My academic interests are mathematics, languages arts, and social studies.
I have worked as a Teaching Assistant for Operations and Information Systems 2340 and 3440 courses at the University of Utah. They are business statistics courses required for most business majors. I have helped students with their assignments and preparing for their exams.
When I tutor, I try to break down concepts according to the level of the student. I acknowledge that each student has different learning style, and I try to accommodate that style by trying out different methods to see which one works the best. Once I figure out a method that works the best for a student, I design my lessons based on that method. I have learned to do this fairly quickly, usually during the first meeting with a student, by teaching numerous students over a year.
