Fun Facts

I love playing the clarinet, oboe, and flute. I actually played all three in high school and played clarinet and flute at William Jewell College. I love animals. I have a couple of cats and a turtle. I love to travel all over the place. I am hoping to do a study abroad program over a summer while I am in college. I have been to Europe as a graduation present from me grandma.

About Me

I graduated from Raytown high school and attended William Jewell College for my freshman year. After one year, I felt it was best to transfer so I tranferred to UMKC. After one semester, I changed my major to Psychology and Criminal Justice and a minor in Math and I hope to get a job in criminal profiling once I graduate.

In high school, I participated in the National Honors Society. To recieve my community service hours, I finished over 300 hours of math tutoring and was able to help several students get the math requirement they needed to get the credit to graduate.

My tutoring approach is to help the student understand the concept of what they are doing. I want them to be able to look at a problem later on and be able to solve it without any help. I explain to them how to do a problem then have them work through problems to get their brain thinking of how to solve the problems.
