With so many good memories tied to some great meals, it is no surprise that I enjoy all aspects of food - from growing my own vegetables to baking bread to trying all sorts of cuisines. I also like being outdoors and try to go hiking, kayaking, etc. whenever I can. I'm very passionate about music and always open to new artists.
About Me
I graduated with my bachelors degree in both Anthropology and Biology in 2010. Since then I have traveled and worked as a austin">tutor and substitute teacher. I hope to start a career in science research and eventually get my masters degree in either the sciences or public health.
For the past 1.5 years I've worked as a austin">tutor in South Texas. I had students from grades 1-12 and sometimes college. Mainly I worked with them in the mathematics and sciences. Although I was hesitant about teaching at first, I learned and now really enjoy the whole process.
Having had to explain certain concepts in many different ways, I realize that not all students learn the same way. As a austin">tutor I want my students to fully comprehend the material. Sometimes the way they are taught at school doesn't make sense to them so it is my duty to make the material more relatable or find more interesting ways to make it so. I am not only there to offer support but also to teach the student how to be self-sufficient and successful in the future.
