Fun Facts
Music is my passion! I play flute, clarinet, and saxophone. I have been involved with music since I was in second grade and my musical passion has grown over the past twelve years. I am currently an elementary music teacher in FWISD.
About Me
I am a TCU graduate and currently an elementary music teacher. On Saturdays I teach upper elementary math.
Experience
All throughout high school I have had multiple private students. I taught flute, saxophone, clarinet, and bass clarinet to elementary, middle school, and high school students throughout my four years of high school. I also volunteered at a local elementary school my senior year of high school where I helped 1st-5th grade students with reading, writing, and arithmetic. Currently, I teach elementary music to K-5th grade students and teach upper elementary math on Saturdays during the school year.
Approach
I feel that repetition is a good way to learn something. However variations in each repetition is key as I have figured out through music. Further, I feel that a more hands on approach helps a lot of people learn especially younger students. Lastly, I like to relate concepts to ideas or things that the student likes or enjoys so they will be more interested in learning the material.

Music Theory Tutoring
I am currently a Music Education Major at Texas Christian University. I have three semesters of ear training and music theory and entering my last semester of both classes.

I am a music education major at Texas Christian University. I have three semesters worth of music theory and ear training as well as two years of AP music theory under my belt from high school.

I excelled at chemistry and AP chemistry in high school and I am a current chemistry minor at Texas Christian University.

Clarinet Compostion Tutoring
I am currently a Music Education Major at Texas Christian University with an emphasis in clarinet. I have been taking clarinet lessons for the past six years and continue to take lessons with Mr. Gary Whitman. Further, I had a clarinet and a bass clarinet student for one year before I left for college.
Flute Tutoring
I am currently a Music Education Major at Texas Christian University. I took flute lessons for ten years all throughout elementary school, middle school, and high school. I took a class last semester at Texas Christian University called Woodwind Technique II where I learned more about how to teacher flute to students. Further I had a flute student for two years before I left for college.
