One passion people quickly learn about me is that I love to laugh and smile. I feel a smile and laugh can cure anything. Any time you see me, I am always smiling. A laugh is very infectious. I am the youngest of five girls. I am from a small town in Virginia. Family is the most important thing in the world to me.

About Me

I am a first grade teacher. I have been teaching for 5 years. I absolutely enjoy helping others learn. I have taught grades K-4. I feel all grades are rewarding to teach. I love seeing young scholars grown and watch them achieve their dreams and goals.

Experience

As a teacher, I have the privilege of working daily with scholars of all ages. I have mastered individualized goals for scholars because I feel every scholar is not the same. My experience as a lead teacher has lead me to guide my coworkers and aid them to become better teachers as well. I believe that my experiences with the youth make me a prime candidate for this position. I am confident, a diligent worker, and passionate about my work. I will be a valuable asset to your company.

Approach

As a child, I struggled and found learning to be a challenge. Luckily, my parents saw my difficulties with learning at an early age and were able to get me the help that I needed. I was fortunate enough to attend Sylvan Leaning Center. At Sylvan, I developed a passion and love for learning. Through my extra time at Sylvan, I was able to excel and learning.
