About Me
I am a recent graduate from Rochester Institute of Technology. I have a bachelor's degree with the concentrations in Mechanical Technology, Human Factors, and Mathematics. I also hold a associates degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology. When I was a student I took a lot of math and physics classes. In the future I want to find a technical position that will use my degree.
Experience
I am a current volunteer at the American Red Cross. As a volunteer I make follow up phone calls and emails to other volunteers to reconnect with them. Another thing I do is I update the American Red Cross database with current volunteer information.
Approach
When I was in school I really loved math. While I was elementary, middle, and high school it was the subject that was the easiest for me. I would like to help students learn math.

Calculus I Tutoring
As a student at Rochester Institute of Technology. I took calculus foundations I and II. In these courses I learned how to take the derivatives.
Elementary Statistics Tutoring
In statistics I learned about the normal bell curve. Also, i learned about probability.
Mechanical Engineering Tutoring
In my mechanical engineering classes I took statics, mechanics of materials, hydraulics and pharmaceutics, and manufacturing processing, materials testing, failure of mechanics and non-metallic materials. In these classes I did several projects. I got A's in these courses.
Physics I Tutoring
I learned about the law of motion in physics I.

While I was a student at RIT I took college physics II and III. In these courses I learned about basic principles of thermodynamics and electricity.

In this course I learned about logarithms and exponents.

While in college I took abnormal psychology, child and adolescence,cognitive psychology, and introduction to psychology.
Trigonometry Tutoring
In trigonometry, I learned about different shapes and how to calculate the surface area and area. Also I learned about different types of angles.

I learned basic algebra skills. I also learned the quadratic and linear equations. I got straight A's in all my math courses in high school.

In high school I took world geography and I learned the locations of most of the countries in the world.

I loved math in high school. It was my favorite subject. I got A's in the four math classes I took in high school. The classes I took were algebra I, algebra II, geometry, and algebra III/trigonometry. Math was always a fun for me.
