Fun Facts
I enjoy baking and frequently spend my weekends watching Food Network to continue growing as both a cook and baker. I have two younger sisters and frequently spend time helping them with their homework. Honestly though I spend the bulk of my time conducting research at a Biology lab at Temple.
About Me
I am a senior Biology major and Computer Science minor at Temple University in the Honors Program. I've been on the Dean's List for 2 years in a row. I am currently in the process of applying to PhD programs for Computational Biology.
Experience
I have experience volunteering with middle school students to implement STEM based activities. In addition, while in high school I worked as a camp counselor. Inspiring young minds to enjoy and appreciate science and math is a true passion of mine. I hope as a tutor I can help people build their confidence with these often difficult to understand subjects.
Approach
Everyone has different learning styles. The key to being a successful tutor is to first listen to the student and find out how they best learn. Delivering the material in a personalized way will help student truly understand the material. This will also help them develop a study method that fits their learning style best.

Having only one semester left in college I have had plenty of time to perfect my study skills. I also have extensive experience working with study groups and working with different study styles than my own.
Biology Tutoring
I completed AP Biology when in high school and received an A. I have since gone on to major in biology and done well in that subject area.

I am almost finished with a degree in biology. I have earned an A/A- in the past 3 upper level biology classes I have completed.
