Fun Facts
I have played competitive collegiate and club Ultimate Frisbee (not to be confused with disc golf) for the past three years. I love working out, running, and basically anything outdoors. My recent endeavors include learning how to cook and play guitar.
About Me
I recently graduated (summa cum laude) from Trinity University with a bachelors in Biology. I intend to pursue graduate school in Evolution, Ecology, and Behavior (EEB) at either UT Austin or Texas A&M College Station. My ultimate goal is to obtain my PhD in EEB and become a researcher and college professor.
Experience
While at Trinity, I was a peer tutor and teaching assistant for Integrative Biology I, Genetics & Evolution, and Animal Behavior. Here, I assisted students with in-class activities, held office hours, and coordinated review sessions before tests. Throughout college, I participated in three independent summer research programs at Trinity University and Cornell University.
Approach
As a freshman at Trinity, I was in dire need of assistance with my coursework and studying habits. I found my peer tutors to be the most helpful in guiding me to solutions and providing productive studying habits. As a tutor, I hope to instill passion and enthusiasm in others in order to foster a new generation of leaders and scholars.
