Fun Facts
I was born and raised in New Jersey and moved to Texas for college. I have stayed in Texas ever since and am never going back to the cold weather! I have a 2-year-old daughter. We love going on trips together, reading children's books every night and going to the playground.
About Me
I am currently a special education teacher at an elementary school in San Antonio. I work with students who have severe and profound disabilities. I also have worked with students with learning disabilities. I graduated from Trinity University with a degree in Humanities. I then earned my Masters of Arts in Teaching, also from Trinity University.
Experience
Growing up, I always wanted to be a teacher. Most of my work related experiences have come from working with and helping kids. I started as a babysitter and camp counselor. I then became a nanny. I have worked for a tutoring company before and I have worked as a private tutor for a first grader. Now as a teacher, I am working with students every day to help improve their academic skills.
Approach
As a teacher of students with special needs, I have learned that I can't just teach something one way. Everyone learns very differently and my instruction must be differentiated. This is something that I bring to my tutoring. I try to teach a topic in a variety of ways. It is important that regardless of the way you learn that you are able to comprehend the information in the way that works best for you.

I attended Trinity University where I earned my degree in Humanities through the Education department. I received my Masters of Arts in Teaching through Trinity University as well. I am currently a Special Education teacher at an elementary school in San Antonio.
