I am a fraternal twin and the oldest of three. I love listening to music whenever I can and jam out in my car (I secretly pretend that I am making a music video!). I love to read in my spare time and enjoy dancing. I hope to be able to teach Zumba one day!
About Me
I am a junior Psychology and Sociology major at the University of Arizona. I previously attended a community college where I graduated with my Honors Associate's degree in Psychology and Sociology. I have been on the Dean's List for the past two years and I am looking forward to completing a third. When I graduate, I aspire to continue my pursuit for a Masters and PhD in psychology or sociology. I would like to be a family and marriage psychologist. In my later years, I would like to be a professor at the college or university level. “I am a senior Accounting major at Texas Christian University. I’ve been on the Dean’s List for 2 years in a row!
As an active student in the K.E.Y.S program, a part of Student Support Services at Arizona Western College, I had the opportunity to tucson">tutor K.E.Y.S. members and non member, while taking an EDU 102 class to sharpen my tucson">tutoring skills. After completing the course, I was certified to be a tucson">tutor. Even before college, I was helping my peers study and reading over their papers. As the oldest sibling, I see it as my duty to help out those who need of assistance. I have done some activities with other organizations to help out others, and what I love about working for Frog tucson">Tutoring is that it gives me the opportunity to impact even more lives of students that need help!
Growing up in different areas, I have seen and learned many things. I know firsthand that school can be difficult, depending on the approach taken. Fortunately, my family gave me the support I needed as a young girl growing up to ensure I would stay in school. I have met many wonderful teachers whose passion for helping others shines on their faces. I see the importance of equipping others with the tools and skills necessary to be successful. My tucson">tutoring motto is one commonly used, "give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime".
