Fun Facts
I LOVE performing arts. When it comes to singing, I can't stop. Music is everything to me. I dance, act, play guitar, and even draw. I have been around the country and have come face to face with several different cultures. I love people!! I am also a big fan of active leisure, like laser tag, escape rooms, go-karting, etc. I also love watching television shows. Right now, I am in the process of watching 24, the one with Jack Bauer. I am loving it!
About Me
I am a Chemical Engineering Major at the University of Maryland- Baltimore County, I am also pursuing minors in entrepreneurship and computer scence. My end goal is to become an entrepreneur. After completing my undergraduate degree, I will go straight to into the chemical engineering work field and will use the funds I get to start my entrepreneurial journey and a foundation for the youth because they are the future!
Experience
As a member of National Junior Honor Society, I had the opportunity to tutor students in several math and science based subject areas during my junior and senior year of high school. I also tutor many of my schoolmates and have seen their grades raise from Cs and Ds to As and Bs. I have also tutored with VarsityTutors. I love working with students and Frog Tutoring gives me the privilege to help many more.
Approach
As a child, I was always considered one of the smart ones in the class. Many students came to me with their questions and education based problems. I saw how my help had impacted them in a great way. As a result of helping friends and others, I have that the best way to learn is to first break down the information and build it up from their. I am a huge on encouragement and celebration of small milestones. Once reasonable milestones are set and met, learning feels a lot more fun and rewarding.

Chemical Engineering
Pre Calculus Tutoring
In my junior year of high school, I took Pre Calculus in which I received an A. Since then, I have taken AP Calculus AB, and Calculus 1. Math is my strongest field. I have never received lower than a B in this area.
Music Theory Tutoring
I attended Thomas G. Pullen Performing Arts school for my middle school years. There I majored in voice. I was also apart of Honors Chorus from grades 5 to 8. Acceptance into this school and program require efficiency in music theory, i.e. sight reading, pitch, scales, song keys.
Geometry Tutoring
I took Geometry in my freshman year of high school. I received an B in this class. Since then, I have taken Algebra 2/Trig, Pre-Calculus, AP Calculus AB, and Calculus 1. Math is my strongest field. I have never received lower than a B in this area.
Calculus AP Tutoring
I took the rigorous AP Calculus AB class in my senior year of high school. I truly enjoyed this class. I received and A in the class itself but sadly did not pass the AP exam with a 3. I have take College Calculus 1 and have complete understanding of what I missed in AP Calculus. I received a B in my College Calculus class.
Algebra Tutoring
I took Algebra my 8th grade year. I received an A in that class. Since then, I have taken Geometry, Algebra 2/Trig, Pre-Calculus, AP Calculus AB, and Calculus 1. Math is my strongest field. I have never received lower than a B in this area.
Pre Algebra Tutoring
I took pre-Algebra my 7th grade year. I received an A in that class. Since then, I have taken Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2/Trig, Pre-Calculus, AP Calculus AB, and Calculus 1. Math is my strongest field. I have never received lower than a B in this area.
Math Tutoring
Math is definitely my strongest area. I have not received any grade less than a B in any of my math classes. I was nominated for Math Honors Society because of my great academic standing in all of my Math classes in High School.
Chemistry Tutoring
I love chemistry. That is why I chose Chemical Engineering as a major. I have taken both high school Chemistry and college level chemistry classes. These classes include gen chem 1 (B), gen chem 2 (A), organic chem 1 (C), organic chem 2 (C), biochem (B), and physical chem (B). I have been able to teach fellow students who started with Ds and Cs and ended with As and Bs.

Upon completion of my first semester of college, I have developed several study skills for people of different characters or personalities. I took a study skill class summer 2014. This class has definitely helped me pass many of my tests and exams.

Performing Arts is my life. I attended a performing arts middle school where I was given experience in every form of art in addition to having regular classes. I have high experience in acting, singing, dancing, and art itself. I've had roles in several productions from elementary to high school.
