Fun Facts

One fun fact is that I love to paint. Watercolor is my favorite. I also love to watch movies! I've seen almost every movie, or so I like to think. I also love crafting in general;sculpting, decorating, etc. I love all sports! I participated in volleyball, swimming, diving, gymnastics, and track in high school. Currently at TCU I am on a member of the TCU gymnastics club and participate in Delta Gamma's intramural volleyball team.

About Me

I'm a senior nursing major at TCU.I'm looking forward to starting clinicals' this spring semester. I am also a part of TCU's Honors College. I attended Faith Christian School for high school, and am from Southlake Texas. I currently live in a house thats walking distance from campus and love it! I am a member of the sorority Delta Gamma here at TCU. In my free time I love playing sports, watching movies and hanging out with friends.

In high school I was a tutor to many of my peers. I tutored in all subjects, but a lot in Spanish and all sciences. I have found that being a tutor is really rewarding. I love being able to help someone reach their goals of understanding and grades.

I have a very flexible tutoring approach. I tutor differently based on each students needs and learning styles. For some students flash cards are an awesome tool, for others using anagrams help, etc. By taking a lot of nursing and other classes at TCU, as well as in high school, I have learned and used a variety of learning tools; metacog maps, pictures, anagrams, flashcards, repetition, dry erase board, etc.
