I've recently gotten into baking a lot. I'm obsessed with everything French. I love watching movies, and my favorite comedy involves dry humor and verbal irony- I enjoy picking up the subtle details of the joke. From time to time, I enjoy sketching with charcoal. But my latest hobby has been running because it's dynamic- running never feels the same every day and there's always room for improvement.

About Me

I am a sophomore student at the miami">University of Miami and am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Biology, with a minor in chemistry. My first year at the miami">University of Miami I made the Provost's Honor Roll and the Dean's List.After graduation I hope to attend the Miller School of Medicine and ultimately become an obstetrician.

My experience in miami">tutoring has come from miami">tutoring my younger sister and cousins. I have usually helped my sister with math and science. I've tutored them for many years now. Most recently, I tutored a cousin of mine for College Algebra and I'm proud to say she did very well. In addition, I have had a lot of experience teaching kids. I used to be a Sunday school teacher as well as a camp counselor and I taught many younger kids and found that with a little patience, teaching them was very rewarding.

I have been fortunate enough over my academic career to have had great teachers who've inspired a love of learning in me. Because of their ability and desire to make knowledge accessible, I, too, share that sentiment. I believe that we can learn and understand anything with hard work and the willingness to learn. It's important to present the material to the student in a way that allows them to truly comprehend the subject.
