Fun Facts
I am very outgoing and one of my passions in life is to travel. I really love all sports and find there is no easier way to bond with other people than playing. My favorites include hockey, soccer, basketball, golf, waterpolo, and football. I am a music lover from a Los Angeles suburb and have lived in San Diego for the past 5 years. I am learning the bass instrument as well as studying another language in the coming year and am always open to learning something new.
About Me
I am a senior Mechanical Engineering major at the University of San Diego. When I graduate I hope to find work in the Aerospace or Renewable Energy industries whether that is back home in Los Angeles, in San Diego or somewhere abroad where I can exercise my language skills. My dream is to create a renewable energy startup and do something with my career to where I can have a direct impact on the world and people surrounding me.
Experience
I was an honor student in High School and my experience comes with my academia. I have 2 younger sisters that I have always offered my help with in the classes they struggled with. I have been tutored for certain courses in my throughout my schooling and therefore have a general idea of how the process works although I have no formal tutoring experience. My strong-suit lies in my ability to motivate kids that the material they are being introduced to is worth learning and fun at the same time.
Approach
I have been in a similar situation of kids in which they don't believe they are "math people" or at a decent level in certain subjects so they choose not to pursue them at all. I was often discouraged by my professors and advisers but I firmly believe it is the hard work that you put into learning these subjects that bring you to the level you want. You may not enjoy mathematics but once you work at it you realize what you can do with the skills and it becomes a fun subject.

I was raised in a Catholic family and attended Christian Schools my entire life. I have gone through cathecism and many different ethics and religion classes. My religion teachers have inspired me greatly throughout my life and I would love to reciprocate in growing a young persons faith. In my university one of my favorite core classes I completed was world religion which covered everything from Confuscianism to Buddhism and Hinduism to Islam and Christianity. I find studying the moral basis and teachings of different religions fascinating.
Science Tutoring
I have taken sciences at the highest levels and although I have not particularly excelled I will be more than able to implement my knowledge at the lower levels. Also, I always loved the projects given at this stage in school and many people don't realize that science is the basis of engineering in many aspects.
