Fun Facts

I love animals and everyone who knows me have met my dog, Shadow. He is a sweet older 10 pound poodle. I adopted him almost 7 years ago from a shelter.

About Me

I am a recent graduate from Drexel University. I earned my MPH in Health, Management and Policy in 2015. I also earned my bachelors in psychology from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County in 2012. I desire to obtain a role where I can use to data improve the quality and processes in a health system.

Experience

As a Long Term Substitute Teacher, I had the opportunity to manage a first grade class in Baltimore, MD intercity. It was an honor to teach students at different levels and encourage them to push beyond their abilities, I also work as an Outreach Coordinator educating children ages 4-20 in different settings about public health issues. I was responsible for facilitating workshops, developing the material and training other employees.

Approach

I am an optimistic tutor that understand that each student learns in a unique way. I focus each tutoring session on developing the skills necessary to master the material. Some students are hands on learning and others are visual learns. I always tailor my approach to the students learning style.
