One thing people quickly learn about me, is that I'm fun! I am a big kid at heart. I still love watching Disney movies and playing make-believe with my four year old son.
About Me
I knew I loved math since I was in the seventh grade. It's always fascinated me; each problem is a puzzle. Right now I am studying for my Bachelor's in mathematics. Someday I hope to teach high school algebra or calculus.
Experience
I've never gotten paid for my tutoring, but that hasn't stopped me. Through high school and college, I've tutored many different classmates from pre-algebra to calculus. I'm always eager to help people better understand what many people think is the hardest subject.
Approach
The reason I fell in love with math was my seventh algebra grade teacher. No matter what we learning, she made it fun. I forgot I was learning. And that's how I like to tutor people. I believe if you can try and make the subject fun and relatable, it's a world easier to understand. Also, I could never stress enough that it's okay to be wrong. Often people get upset if they're not getting it right away and they feel like quitting, and that's when I urge them to try again.
