About Me
I am a Junior Deaf Study major at California State University Northridge(CSUN). I was born and raised in Japan for 20 years. I've been living here in the U.S. since 2012. I came here to become an American sign language interpreter. I am the first one in my family to be in a university.
Experience
I'm currently tutoring a boy to watch his homework and help him study Japanese. Past winter, I tutored a college student who was taking Algebra 2 in LACC. Also, during the summer, I tutored Japanese. Both of my students passed the classes with high scores.
Approach
I am the person that I like teaching and want to be helpful for students. Since there are a lot of people who help me out my new life in the U.S., I would like to support someone who needs help. I am very outgoing and patient. I would like students to understand fully, so my focus is only students.
