Fun Facts
I have had numerous extracurricular activities, but Color Guard was my #1 activity. I loved performing and I was the captain of my high school team. I also participated in several events outside of San Diego, including the National Student Leadership Conference in Washington D.C. and an internship at NASA's Dryden Flight Research Center. My favorite place to be is Six Flags Magic Mountain, as I love terrifying thrill rides and roller coasters!
About Me
I am currently a sophomore at San Diego State University. Math and science have always been my favorite subjects, which is why I am pursuing a degree in Statistics. I plan on continuing my education by studying biostatistics in graduate school and my dream is to become a Biostatistician.
I started liking math at a young age, so my friends and classmates came to me for help in math. To this day, I have continued to help others. But just because I love math, it does not mean I was born a math genius. Sometimes I face struggles in fast-paced math courses, but I use my resources and am able to teach the material to myself. Now, being a Frog Tutor gives me the opportunity to help more students overcome their math struggles!
My goal is to show others that math is not as scary as it is perceived to be. I believe that once you understand it, it can actually be quite fun! I will do this by taking the time to guide students through problems and helping them understand the material so that they are able to do it on their own. In addition to knowing the material, I want to share study habits that will ensure that they are well prepared for tests!
