I will not consider myself a smart people. The fact is that I am always struggling for my grade the entire academic year. However, I am a hardworking enough to solve every problem I encountered.
About Me
My name is Yong Wang. I am a graduated student from Columbia University major in Statistics. I got almost 3.8 GPA on my graduate study and took 16 courses while only 10 are required.
Experience
I worked as a teaching assistant for 3 different classes when I am in Columbia University which helped me better communicate with students.
Approach
As a child, I struggled in school and found learning to be difficult and demoralizing. In middle school, I was fortunate enough to have a teacher who, through positive encouragement and persistence, helped me realize my true potential. As a tutor, I attempt to bring this attitude to all of my sessions. Instead of giving students answers, I feel it is my responsibility to not only teach them the content, but study skills that will help them be successful in all classes!
