Fun Facts
One passion that I have is basketball. I am a sports fanatic, but I absolutely love watching or going to basketball games. I'm also a medical nerd. Which would probably make sense because I want to become a doctor. I've always had an interest in medicine so that part is very exciting for me! I also love to tutor or help kids or students who are struggling in certain subjects. I enjoy taking it slow and seeing them begin to enjoy the subject and see them succeed as they learn and gain confidence.
About Me
I am a Freshman at Tarrant County College studying for my Associate of Arts. My goal is to attend Texas Christian University after I obtain my Associates and study Pre-Med! My ultimate goal is to become a well-known and successful doctor.
Experience
I unfortunately have no experience except with my sister who is in tenth grade. I always wanted to tutor kids, but never received the opportunity to because I was home schooled throughout high school.
Approach
My senior year of high school was the hardest on me for math. I basically struggled the entire semester (first half) until I asked for my teachers help. Now I was making A's and B's in math that year, but I was still having a hard time! my teacher sat me down, took it slow, encouraged me, took me back to the basics and pushed me to work hard. That will be my approach with struggling kids. I will take it slow, encourage, go back to the basics and push them to work hard to succeed.

English Comp 1: SO far I am making an A. This is my first year in college. English was always my strongest subject, so I am very advanced when it comes to English!

So far I am making an A in History (and I plan on keeping it that way.) History was also an easy subject for me. I always love going to History class, because I always learn a lot and it is extremely fascinating to me!

So I was always sure to do my homework first thing when I got home. Encouraging people to finish their homework in time and make plenty of time to study is a very important thing to me.

In middle school, math was pretty great for me! I made A's and B's throughout middle school math and i always enjoyed going to math class because my teachers made it fun. which is a main reason I want to tutor middle school math students. So they can see that math actually can be fun.

In middle school I made A's in reading. Reading was another fun subject for me and I always came to class prepared and ready for whatever assignment the teacher had for us!

Science was a fun subject for me throughout middle school. I made A's and B's in Science and I always was excited to come to class and see what I would learn about next. It really was intriguing for me!
Writing Tutoring
Writing. I made A's in writing in middle school. I enjoyed writing class because my teacher was very enthusiastic about writing. She always wanted us to get better at cursive so she had her own way of making it fun!
Arts Tutoring
Art was always fun for me in school. I always made A's in all of my art classes. i am currently enrolled in an Art History Survey class in college, which is pretty interesting!
Elementary Math Tutoring
In elementary I made A's in math! math has always been a subject that I've been extremely interested in. I always came to class eager to learn more about what the teacher had taught us the last class or to always learn something new!

I'm a music nerd. I made A's in music and I always just loved music. I am also a musician so this subject is very close to me.
