Fun Facts

I am originally from a small town in northwestern Ohio called Bryan. I love riding my bicycle, playing soccer, watching movies, and hanging out with my friends. I am also a pet lover, but sadly I am not allowed to have pets at my apartment complex. However, I do have a pet betta fish named Hootie!

About Me

I am currently a junior at IUPUI here in Indianapolis and I am majoring in Communication studies. I hope to someday work at a non-profit agency for some sort of a cause that will make an impact in other people's lives for the better. I am a driven individual, love to help people, and an extremely hard worker. Family means a lot to me and I strive to make them proud.

The experience I have with indianapolis">tutoring has also been partnered with my babysitting experience. I have a younger brother, who is currently 15, whom I have helped with homework, studying, and school projects throughout the years. I also have an 8 year old cousin, that lives here in Indianapolis, that I have also helped indianapolis">tutor. Usually while I am babysitting him for his parents, I help him to complete his homework, read to him/with him, and also do flash cards or play educational games. I have enjoyed and will continue to enjoy teaching them both, and hope to make an impact on their lives positively.

The approach I will take on indianapolis">tutoring will be to relate, communicate, hold accountable, and encourage my clients. Getting good grades is something that was pounded into my head throughout grade school, and it has stuck. I believe that the reward system has positive outcomes, and there is a strong possibility that I would bring in some sort of small gift (candy, school supplies, stickers, etc.) for students doing well. My overall goal is to help students do their very best, and to make an impact on their scholastic careers for the better!
