I am from Los Angeles and have a younger sibling. One of my favorite hobbies is photography. I love to take pictures of people, places, or animals. I also love to travel and have been to many countries, especially in Europe and the Caribbean. I
About Me
I am currently a freshman at San Francisco State University. I hold a 3.7 GPA and am currently on the Dean's list. I do not have a major yet, however I hopefully plan on continuing my education at NYU.
Experience
Throughout high school I worked as a tutor for students. At first, I would tutor kids in my class as well as my sister's friends, specifically in math and chemistry. In my junior and senior year of high school, I was working with another teacher as a tutor. She would set me up with students that came to her in search for a math tutor. In my senior year, I was a teacher's assistant for an AP Language class. Tutoring gave me an opportunity to share what I knew and help others that were struggling.
Approach
As a kid, math always came easy to me. As I went to middle and especially high school, I noticed some of my friends weren't understanding the material as well as me specifically in chemistry and so I would help them out. Seeing their response and their improvement and knowing that I was someone that was able to help them get through that made me feel really happy.

Algebra Tutoring
I took Algebra in grade school and received an A. I have taken higher level math courses up to AP Calculus and Statistics, both of which I received an A in.
Chemistry Tutoring
I took chemistry in grace school and received an A. I am currently considering going into chemistry after my teacher told me I should think about doing so.
Homework Coach Tutoring
In the past, I have tutored kids and helped them with homework and studying. I have helped them not only complete assignments, but also taught them the material to give them a better understanding to do work on their own.
