Fun Facts

One fun fact about me is that I only have one younger brother, but I grew up with 13 cousins so it feels like I have 13 siblings. My favorite season is winter, because I prefer to keep warm instead of trying to stay cool. I'm smitten with comedy films and entertainment shows, because I love getting a good laugh to alleviate my stress. I also enjoy dancing, because that's when I feel the most free and the most confident. It's a form of expression with limitless opportunities to be creative.

About Me

I am in my first year at San Francisco State University as a pre-nursing major, but I'm also interested in teaching, therefore I'd like to gain further experience. My goal, before graduating from college, is to study abroad in South Korea and find a major that I'm truly passionate about. After graduation, I want to serve in the peace corps teaching english abroad. After the peace corps, I'll continue my studies and hopefully become a college professor to inspire minds of the next generation.

Experience

During junior year of high school, I had experience tutoring one on one with fourth graders at a local elementary school. I mainly helped with homework,but occasionally I also led extracurricular activities such as kickball. The summer before senior year, I had the wonderful opportunity to travel to Nicaragua and teach english to local Nicaraguans for three weeks. My thirst for teaching others have not been quenched through these experiences, therefore I'd like to grow more with Frog Tutoring.

Approach

English was always my strongest subject, and I always enjoyed it way more than any other class. I've taken advanced english in high school, and english class in my first semester of college, and I'm now currently enrolled in a more advanced english course. Because I'm already passionate about english and writing, I feel like I can teach it well and even encourage others to write. I'm also confident that I can help those who need tips and techniques in studying due to my years of experience.
