About Me
I am an Accounting major at the University of Texas at San Antonio. I'm pursuing a 150-hour program in which I earn my bachelors and masters at the same time. I have been on the Honor Roll for the past year and Dean's List previously. My current goal is to take the GMAT this semester and my long term goal is to become a Certified Public Accountant.
Ever since I can remember, I have always tutored friends and peers in numerous subjects. While Frog Tutoring is my first formal tutoring job, I feel as though I have been a tutor for many years. My mother is a 7th Grade Pre-Algebra/Algebra teacher, and therefore I have spent years helping her produce creative lesson plans and grading assignments. I'm very excited for the opportunity to work one-on-one with students of all ages!
My first objective with new students is always to understand what kind of learner they are. As an extremely visual learner, I know the importance of different teaching methods. Students may be visual, auditory, or more of a hands-on learner. Once the type of learner is established, lesson plans can be modified to the best method for each individual student.
