Fun Facts

Being an engineering student, I like to keep up with the latest technology and products. I tend to spend time with my family and friends as much as I can with all of our busy lives. I also love traveling. I would like to be able to go to Europe to visit Spain and Portugal. I am currently trying to learn Spanish and would like to put that to the test.

About Me

I am a Junior at Boise State University studying Mechanical Engineering. I made the Dean's list last semester and have a 4.0 in all math classes up to Differential Equations, and could not be more excited about how it feels to see my hard work and dedication pay off. I would like to go onto grad school in hopes of receiving my masters degree in Mechanical Engineering. Something that interests me in my field of study is product design.

Experience

In high school I was a member of a lot of extra curricular organizations including Mu Alpha Theta, National Honor Society, Varsity Football, Varsity Bowling, and I worked at the local nursery. I carry my work ethic into college by getting involved with American Society of Mechanical Engineers, The sustainability club, and the student foundation. Although I have no formal tutoring experience, I have helped many students within these organizations excel in math courses.

Approach

In High School, I never really had that much focus in one particular subject until about my junior year. So I know the monotony of being in classes that aren't really that interesting to you. Bringing a personalized new take on the subject will be what I will try and provide to the student. I also have a solid foundation in math to help those who just don't understand the material. Though I have experience up to Differential Equations, I feel I would be most effective up to Calculus 1 or AB.
