Fun Facts

I was a semi-professional opera singer in elementary school and middle school. I sang at the MET, Yale, and Hunter College in New York City. I have been playing soccer for 12 years and watching my whole life and my favorite team is Juventus, a team based out of Turin Italy. I am also Italian, French, and American, and love all of the cultures!

About Me

I am majoring in Biology and Chemistry and am on a pre-med track. I love all types of music, both playing and listening since I play the clarinet. I am also a big soccer fan and watch as many games as possible. I love studying and learning new things and it makes me happy when I help other people learn and understand things while enjoying it. I am a very friendly person and I absolutely love making people happy, and smile.

I have tutored in high school after school as a requirement for National Honor Society. I tutored about once a week and helped kids with Sciences and Maths as those are my strongest and favorite topics. I also began a club in high school, of kids that took weekly trips to the local middle school to miami">tutor the kids in band there. We would help the teachers by breaking up into smaller groups more specific to their instrument so that they would learn more efficiently.

I believe that there is a way to convey information to all kids and it is just a question of trying to figure out what way will help them understand it. I first explain it in a way that would make most sense to me, in a very simple way so that the student can then repeat it back to me in a different manner. If they still don't understand the concept I will try explaining it in a different fashion whether that be using different types of examples that they can relate to or understand better. Then I believe that they should be able to repeat it back to me. I believe that the most important part of miami">tutoring is to make sure that the student is understanding everything and happy so it is a positive experience.
