Some of my hobbies include reading, cooking, and playing guitar. I love spending time with my family, we are all very close. I've never been in an airplane before but I hope to go sky diving one day!

About Me

I grew up in Southern Indiana, but chose to go to school three hours from home at IUPUI. I'm currently in my junior year studying nursing. I just entered the nursing program this fall and have been on the Dean's List every semester. I one day hope to specialize and get my masters in Nursing. Once I've worked as a nurse for 10+ years I am going to consider teaching it as well as complete some research. While I'm still in college, I would love to be able to study nursing abroad in Australia.

Since starting school at IUPUI, I've wanted to be a indianapolis">tutor. Currently, I'm a mentor for the 21st Century Scholars at IUPUI. I help students get through their freshman year of college successfully. I love helping people. Seeing someones light-bulb go off is an amazing feeling. I also had some indianapolis">tutoring experience while I was in high school from being in the National Honor Society. I tutored middle school students with homework, as well as a specific individual for an entire semester.

I like to make my students as comfortable as possible. I feel they are more likely to open up and express their concerns in an environment they feel most comfortable in. I try to relate with my students and share similar stories.
