Fun Facts
When I was in middle school my aunt convinced my mother to have me audition for a local talent agency for film and theatre. I got the job and began to go on several auditions over the next year or two, and was casted in a few commercials. My claim to fame: I held a principal role the highly regarded Baltimore hit TV Series, "The Wire". I played the main characters son and filmed for several years as Sean McNulty.
About Me
At 23 years old, I am an aspiring entrepreneur living in Baltimore, Maryland. Born and raised in the area, I have never wanted to leave. I have two older brothers with whom I am very close with and think of them as my best friends. I am currently making ends meet with several part-time jobs while I develop a business model to begin my entrepreneurial adventure.
Experience
When I was 18, I had the opportunity to volunteer as a physical education teacher assistant at my high school. I gave up my own gym class, which was my favorite, to help kids my age, who struggled with mental disabilities. I learned that making sacrifices in order to help others is one of the most rewarding things you can do. From that time on, I have set out to live a life where I am always giving back and helping my peers!
Approach
As I moved through the education system, from middle to high school, I always felt that I was an intelligent student, however I struggled to learn in a classroom setting. I was able to teach myself and even help others, but always felt the pressure to learn in school was a little too much. My parents helped me by hiring several tutors along the way to work with me outside of school. I credit much of my success to these private learning settings and am excited for the opportunity to help others.
