Basketball is always my favorite sports all through the years. I always play basketball with friends, classmates, and family. Basketball always can bring me energy and help me to get out of the stress, also I learn different things from the different people I play with. For example, how to communicate with people effectively, and how to become a leader on the court and so on. It is a fun sport, I like it.

About Me

I am a freshman major in MATH at University of Illinois at Chicago. Having a great passion on Math since my early childhood. My grandfather was a math teacher when I was a kid, and he started to teach me basic math knowledge as soon as I could speak and listen. So I have been built up my interest in math since then, Right now, I am in college, I wish I can help the people who needs help on math, and help them to archive their goals.

Experience

I was in the math team of my high school in Massachusetts, I had much experience in the math competition both in team round and individual meets. Also, in my both sophomore and junior year high school, I joined the American Mathematics competitions. In 2013, I was the school winner of my school, and junior year I was the third of my school. In my senior year, I started to help my schoolmates on math and science for SAT and ACT and school work.

Approach

Back to 2012, I moved into the United States with my family. At that moment, English became to my biggest challenge. I did have a great hard time on communicating with people around me. I felt so hopeless, meanwhile, I understood that I had to pick up my English skill in order to change the circumstance. As a result, I spent my most time on studying English. Finally, hard work pays back, I improved my English skill dramatically, and became more active in the school activities.
