Fun Facts

I have two cats that I absolutely love! Their names are Pancho and Mac. I am the third child in a family of six kids so I am very used to being busy. I love to play volleyball also. I played club at Ohio State but now I just play in sand tournaments with my older sister for fun! I am an avid Buckeye and Cleveland sports fan as well. O-H!!!

About Me

I am currently a sophomore nursing student at The Ohio State University. In 2015 I plan on passing my Boards and becoming a Registered Nurse! I would love to work in a Labor and Delivery Unit, but I am also interested in working in Oncology.

I grew up looking after my three younger sisters so this gave me a lot of columbus">tutoring experience. I was also a member of the Freshman Mentor Program in my high school (dublin">Dublin Coffman) and I tutored freshman during study halls and after school. I always felt good about helping my sisters and the freshman out with their schoolwork.

As a columbus">tutor, my approach is to first show that I am easy to talk to, but am also determined and serious about my work. I like to first discover the students strengths and weaknesses so that we can spend more time in specific areas in order to get the most out of each session. I will coordinate my columbus">tutoring session plan along with the teacher's plan as best as possible. I know that not any two students learn the same way and I know that I will put serious effort in improving study habits and in turn, grades.
