Fun Facts

I am passionate about running and triathlon. Some would go so far to same the I am obsessive. I prefer long distance events such as: Ultramarathon, marathon, and Ironman. I qualified this year to run Boston Marathon 2017. I can't wait for registration to open up in September!

About Me

I am a Recreational Therapy masters student at Florida International University. I work as the Recreation Director for three detox facilities. My ultimate goal is to start a running program for the homeless and provide adventure therapy to the adult population.

Experience

As an undergraduate student, I was a introductory psychology tutor. My GPA was a 4.0. I attended an art school for Creative Writing and I was a writing fellow at Florida International University.

Approach

My approach is discovering what learning style works best for the individual student. We all learn differently, and discovering the best approach for retaining information will aid the student in the subject of interest, as well as in other courses.
