I love to learn and I love to figure out how things work. I really enjoy the outdoors, especially hiking and biking. I enjoy sports such as football and tennis.

About Me

Currently, I am a student at the University of Utah majoring in chemistry. I graduate this fall. I am in the process of applying to pharmacy school. I want to work as a clinical pharmacist so I can help patients that are in need of different drug treatment options.

I had the opportunity to volunteer for two years as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. During this time I had the opportunity to interact and teach many people about goal setting, overcoming challenges and making decisions that would have a positive impact on their future. I spent many hours teaching important concepts, skills and values.

I believe the key to learning is finding ways to relate an unfamiliar idea to something familiar to that individual. When I teach a concept or idea, I want the individual to ask themselves why this is important. I will reinforce that concept through repetition, critical thinking, and examples.
