Fun Facts

Although I am a science/georgia/atlanta">Computer Science student, I never spend the entire day on a computer. I enjoy playing acoustic and classical guitar after a long day. I attempt to run and bike ride daily to stay in shape, and occasionally go mountain biking. Soccer is my favorite sport, with ultimate Frisbee a close second.

In addition to outdoor activities, I have a strong passion for learning and sharing knowledge. I love puzzles, science/georgia/atlanta">computer science, mathematics, and other sciences. I attempt to seek out

About Me

I am a science/georgia/atlanta">Computer Science Masters student at Georgia Institute of Technology. I am currently doing what I love, and hope to continue doing it for years to come by becoming a university professor so I am able to share my enthusiasm for science/georgia/atlanta">Computer Science with others. I received my Bachelors degree in science/georgia/atlanta">Computer Science at columbus-state-university">Columbus State University, where I was also employed as a atlanta">tutor to help pay my way through school.

I have been atlanta">tutoring since I began my undergraduate studies and have had many rewarding experiences. Many of the individuals I have worked with simply needed clarification in a certain topic, while others required weekly attention and guidance. I have worked with middle school students up to college students, and have had the pleasure of helping many students on their path to success.

Before beginning with the academic content, I begin by learning about the individual. Since everyone is unique, I firmly believe each student has a unique method of learning, and through understanding this method I can better teach the student. Then the student and I pinpoint the reason atlanta">tutoring is required. Often this reason stems from being unclear of prerequisite topics as opposed to simply a lack of understanding of the current content. Then I construct a unique study plan for the student designed to boost understanding of the required topics, as well as suggesting good study and organizational habits so that the student has the ability to maintain their advantage in the subject.
