Fun Facts
One thing about me that I think makes me stand-out from many is that I am passionate about teaching. I love being able to sit down with someone who is having a tough time understanding a particular subject and trying my best to help them become experts in it. Some of my other hobbies include reading, writing, bodybuilding, playing sports, and dancing.
About Me
I am a junior Biological Sciences major and Chemistry minor at the University of New Orleans. When I graduate, I hope to attend graduate school to earn my Masters degree in the Biological Sciences or specifically in Bioengineering. My ultimate goal is to become a college Biology professor or a Bioengineer.
Experience
During my years in high school I was a leader of a humanitarian organization on campus which required me to do a lot of public speaking and teaching on a weekly basis. Here I developed the skills I feel essential to becoming an effective teacher. As a college student, I have further developed my teaching skills by offering tutoring to many of my classmates and by increasing my knowledge of many subjects that students have trouble learning.
Approach
As a tutor, my approach is to try to understand the student's difficulties with a subject, patiently help the student understand it better, and challenge the student to want to learn more about it.

I was raised under a Christian household and spent much of my childhood and teenage years studying Christian theology and apologetics. I have read Wayne Grudem's "Bible Doctrine" along with many other theological books that have helped me understand Christianity in depth.
