Currently, I am employed by the Girl Scouts of Middle TN and this will be my third year. A fun fact about me is I absolutely love road trips. My favorite destinations are towns that aren't that known as well historical sites from American History like Gettysburg or Salem, MA. I think it is extraordinary just being in the presence of these places. You can feel all the life that has thrived through it for decades. About Me

I have always had such a huge passion for learning. I believe the best way to learn is through the yearning to gain knowledge instead of the yearning to gain an A+ (even though that is a great bonus!) I currently am a Junior majoring at Lipscomb University for Education and English with a minor in Psychology. I plan on attending Lipscomb's graduate study program for Psychology to receive my masters degree and hopefully receive my doctorate in Cognitive Psychology one day.

I believe that a nashville">tutor is more than a teacher, but also a mentor. I have loved having the opportunity to mentor some amazing kids with my work for AWANA programs, UPWARD sports, and the Girl Scouts. I am currently still working heavily with the Girl Scouts, managing and teaching programs to troops all across Middle TN. It is a true blessing!

My main nashville">tutoring approach is making it relatable. The best way to learn and retain knowledge is to apply it. Someone could say the sky is pink all day long but until you physically see it yourself, it remains just words. I believe this is just like academics. I will help the student apply the material to their everyday life as well as discussing why the material is important to know. This makes learning less of a chore and more of a lifestyle, and that is a tool that hopefully they will use for the rest of their lives even beyond school.
