About Me
I am a sophomore biology student at Temple University. I am a pre-med student, and hope to become an Emergency Room Doctor, as helping people in the field of medicine is my true passion. I have received many academic honors, such as being in the Top 5% of my high school graduating class (which had over 700 students in the graduating class) and being on the Deans list at my four year university multiple semesters.
Experience
I tutored my fellow students while i was in high school, and also when i was a first year student in college. I am a versatile teacher and am able to offer assistance in many fields, especially the maths and sciences.
Approach
I try to connect with the student, and do not want them to feel as though i know more than them. I try to make us partners, and we solve and work through each problem together. Sometimes in class teachers move too quickly and little steps can be lost in the process. I like to go through every little step so as to engage and help the student understand the material more fully.

Biology
Algebra Tutoring
Am able to teach Algebra I and II well. I am currently enrolled in Calculus III, and every day i use basic algebra skills that i am still strong in. I taught algebra when i was in high school, so now that i am in college i am even better at it.
Algebra II Tutoring
Am able to teach Algebra I and II well. I am currently enrolled in Calculus III, and every day i use basic algebra skills that i am still strong in. I taught algebra when i was in high school, so now that i am in college i am even better at it.
Biology Tutoring
I am a biology major, so i am very strong in the field of biology. I like to walk my students through all biological processes so that they understand the material well. I explain the material in very simple terms, and break large concepts down into smaller, easier ones.
Calculus Tutoring
I am in calculus III, and therefore my calculus skills are not rusty at all. I do calculus every day, and am able to teach it well.
Geography Tutoring
I used to always get first place in the geography bees in high school. I am very proficient in this subject.
SAT Math Tutoring
I received a 2100 on my SATs, with a 700 in math. I took many SAT prep courses and know lots of methods that go beyond knowing the material that allow you to obtain the correct answer. SAT math is very systematic and standardized, and if you know a few simple methods you can solve any problem they give you.
Science Tutoring
I am a science major, so i know a lot in all fields of science. I tutored science in high schools, and the kids i tutored always scored higher on their exams after i was done with them.
