I am a huge sports fan. I played basketball and baseball growing up. I also enjoy eating at local restaurants with my family and friends.
About Me
I graduated from the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, MA with a major in Biology and Spanish. I graduated Cum Laude with a cumulative GPA of 3.68. I studied abroad for a year in Argentina and Costa Rica where I developed fluency in Spanish and conducted public health research. I am currently applying to medical school.
Experience
I have volunteered as a mentor to youth at the Boys and Girls Club of Worcester. Additionally, I tutored refugee teens in various subjects such as Math and English as a second language. I have also worked with college students in the Spanish Writer's Workshop at my college to help them write effectively in Spanish. I hope to continue working with students to help them see personal progress.
Approach
I believe that with individual attention, all students can succeed. By working at their own pace with explanations and examples that are tailored to the student, they can better grasp the material. I will work to develop effective study skills that allow for long-term success across many subjects.
