I love to hang out with friends most of my free time! Family is also very important to me, I am the youngest of five. I love hanging out with my nieces and nephews, I guess you could say I'm a kid at heart! I love to play basketball and practice my drumming when I get the chance to.

About Me

I am a physics major at the University of Texas at San Antonio. My minor is astronomy/astrophysics. I'm a tenacious student and intend not to give up on my dreams. When I graduate I hope to attend graduate school for mechanical engineering. I aspire to work for NASA to help prepare for the journey to Mars in 2030.

Experience

I have never had professional experience tutoring but I have helped my younger cousins (17 yrs. and 6 yrs.) in both math and English. I also used to volunteer at my church helping out teachers at cathachism and have volunteered at my hometown event "dia de los niños." Working for Frog Tutoring will give me the opportunity to hopefully help someone see the potential in themselves.

Approach

My approach of course would be tailored to the student themselves. We can start with the traditional approach and work our way from there. If the student is more of a visual learner then I would use visuals. I myself am a visual learner and it usually takes me a while to grasp things. My mother was actually the one to introduce real examples. Using play doe, candy, etc. therefore I would introduce that to my student as well hoping it will give them a better understanding.
