Fun Facts
I have many hobbies including sports such as basketball, soccer and baseball. I was also a runner of cross country and track in high school and I rowed on the crew team in college at West Virginia University. I also played in the marching band in high school and college.
About Me
I graduated from West Virginia University with two degrees in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering. I am currently a student at Drexel University getting my Masters in Mechanical Engineering. I have always been involved in many extracurricular activities such as in high school where I played in the marching and jazz bands and ran track and cross country.
I come from a family of three sisters, two of those younger. In subjects in which they were not as strong, such as math and sciences, I would help them out and their grades would almost always improve. In college, I was a philadelphia">tutor through our university's honors program where I helped students in entry-level engineering classes.
My philadelphia">tutoring approach is to reinforce the concepts behind the questions most likely to be on the tests and quizzes. This will give the student a better understanding of the subject and prevent the student from just "memorizing" answers. I also stress effective organization techniques because that adds confidence to the student so that all they have to focus on is the subject itself.
