I love working in a field where I can help people! I also babysit and intern in a hospital. I hope to move to the East Coast and work in an emergency room when I graduate.

About Me

I am currently a Junior nursing major at the University of San Francisco. I am originally from Southern California. I truly enjoy learning and helping others learn.

I have experience boston">tutoring all ages. In high school I tutored other students in math. I worked for about 15-20 hours per week consistently with 5 students. I also have worked with elementary students with homework including reading and math skills. I am proud to say that the students I have worked with have seen significant improvement in their understanding of the subject as well as their grades.

My teaching approach revolves around the idea of understanding the concepts thoroughly. Often students just memorize, making them appear to understand, only to do poorly on tests. I help students do their homework without taking over by asking step by step questions along the way to allow the student to figure out the answer on their own. I am very patient and I believe that this is largely what makes my teaching style effective.
