Something interesting to know about me is that I love to travel and meet new people. It has been a wonderful experience to move to the United States where I have had the chance to get to know many people of so many different cultures and backgrounds. When I am retired, I plan to spend the time traveling around the world to enjoy all the things other countries can offer like foods and entertainment.

About Me

Hola, My name is Mercedes Yocelyn Linares . I am from the Dominican Republic, I graduated from Utesa Dom. Rep. with a Bachelor of Computer Science, In 2001 I returned to school Montclair state University and received P-3 Certification also I am a certified K-12 Spanish Teacher My goal is to do my Masters in Spanish. I am passionate about education, I enjoy interacting with children and it brings me a great deal of gratification to know that I am able to contribute to their learning.

Experience

Native Spanish Speaker, I have 17 years teacher experience. I Developed and implemented engaging Spanish lesson plans. Conducted observations and assessments to maximize instruction and mastery for each students.Participated in a professional learning team both onside and offside. Provided support and guidance to students and colleagues.

Approach

As part of my teaching process. I have always taken the time out to get to know my students . I figure out what they like to do as well as the way that they learn best. With this knowledge of their learning styles as well as each students particular inteligence
